Sema Blue’s Seoul Babel

A couple weeks ago, we paid a visit to Sema Blue for the Seoul Babel exhibition. While Sema Blue has featured individual designers in the past, this time we celebrate the diversity and experimentations from small studios all across Seoul. A common motif we see is the accessibility and ephemeral nature of design as a result of the growth of media platforms such as SNS services and smartphones. Topics like rent, LGBT lifestyles, the military, and the work culture were touched upon as well. Over 70 artists participated in Seoul Babel in all different types of mediums including performance art and artist talks that will run through until the 5th of April. So if you’re in Korea, go check it out and experience what Seoul creatives have to offer.
